I don't know if it's a good idea to clean up all the spiderwebs and the rest of the creepy decoration around here now that Halloween/Day of the Dead is just a few weeks away, but anyway, I guess it's time to do it. And in case you're wondering... no, this is not another one of those posts where I promise to update this blog in a regular manner.Or maybe it is. I'm not sure. The fact is, sometimes I just don't know what to write about and I'd rather not fill these space with senseless ramblings... er... ok, I mean, not intentionally, entries with the only purpose of making this look like a properly updated blog.
Something similar was affecting La Hoguera de las Necedades after it was abandoned by everyone but Santiago and yours truly. Lately I have rediscovered the liking of doing it and found a way to try to keep it running on a somehow regular manner. As for the rest of the blogs I keep or contribute to are more or less the same, with the only exception of Comicverso, where the thematic blogzine format demands a certain discipline with schedules and contents.
And it was precisely the way I needed to work there what made me come up with a sudden realization: I lack discipline. I guess I kew it, or at least suspected as much, but anyway, that's a fact. The point is that I've decided to run some kind of experiment. I've devised a schedule of sorts to post on my blogs. Probably you won't give a damn since all of them are written in Spanish, but here's the plan:
I'll post three times a week in La Hoguera, most likely on tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays -though I'm completely sure I'll miss my deadlines every now and then, just like this week-. Get Out, in Spanish, will be updated twice a week, tentatively on wednesdays and saturdays with the corresponding translation available here the next day. Quinta Dimensión will have every sunday and ocasionally on weekdays too. The Spanish translation to Neil Gaiman's blog I'll do it whenever I found the time. That's it.
At Comicverso I write three regular columns and those shouldn't be affected by my shiny new scheduling plan. On fridays, alternating bi-weekly, I do Predicando para el Coro (Preaching to the Choir) and Recomendaciones de la Comicteca (Recomendations from the Comic Book Library), and on sundays Mutantes for Dummies (Mutants for Dummies).
There. After all this one ended up being another one of those posts. But this time I'll try to make it work. I mean it. Really.
