I made a promise not to let another month go by without writing here again and I stand by my word. Barely, but I did it. I had a brief respite from my usual activities and I used it to get up to date with my writings in La Hoguera, but now the time has come to get back to work and I found myself again without enough time in my hands.
You may be wondering why I didn't use this little time off to update this blog as well as La Hoguera, and the answer, even as simple as it is, it's quite unsettling. At least for me. I didn't have anything to say. After re-reading all of my previous posts I noticed that I was falling into a predictable scheme of writing, and since routine it's already a huge part of my life I think it would be nice to leave it out of this blog. I had a chance to talk with Tere this past weekend and that conversation reinforced that thought, because if there's something that I'd like to avoid becoming, it's predictable.
Starting today, I'll try to break some of these self-imposed molds. A couple of recurring issues in my writings are comics and music, and I'll try to keep'em but in a different manner, more at random. Instead of writing only during the weekends I'll do my best to do it in different days and more constantly. Reviews and comments on books, comic books, movies or even the odd cd may appear at any given time. Lyrics to a song or a tale extracted from my memory, as well as an espontaneous tantrum, complaint or sarcastic remark are not discarded either.
So, if you have the will -and the patience- to keep reading, I guess that you could find the experience entertaining or even amusing. Because there's still a lot of stuff fighting to get out of my head.
